Emma Morton, Student Intern

Emma Morton (they/them) is in their first year attending the University of Utah’s Master of Social Work Program as a clinical intern. They graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Westminster College in 2018. After graduating, they worked as an intern at Encircle facilitating the trans adult friendship circle. Emma is passionate about advocating for accessible gender-affirming care and fostering safe, inclusive therapeutic spaces and environments for the LGBTQ+ community. Emma believes that building community is one of the most valuable ways for creating and advocating for systematic change.

Emma is from Salt Lake City Utah and lives with their partner and three cats. They enjoy plants, trees, spending time outside, and video games.
