Jackie Keel, MSW, LCSW
Jackie Keel (she/they) earned a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah and has spent over a decade working for the Department of Health and Human Services in roles serving youth and emerging adults. Their work has centered on policy initiatives aimed at preventing system involvement and keeping young people out of the juvenile justice system.
Jackie is a neurodivergent, disabled combat veteran from the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” era and a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. As a suicide loss survivor, their work is informed by both lived experience and professional training, with a strong commitment to suicide prevention and care for communities facing elevated risk due to trauma and systemic oppression.
Jackie practices from a trauma-focused, affirmative framework that centers client strengths, autonomy, and lived expertise, integrating elements of DBT, EMDR, TF-CBT, CPT and mindfulness into their clinical work.
She lives in St George with her wife and their two dogs, Einstein and Ginger.
