Becca Wilson, LMFT
I enjoy working with individuals, families and couples helping them find and
live their best life.
I have had both personal and professional experience in suicidality, addiction, ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, bipolar, religious conflicts and faith transitions, non-suicidal self-harm, sexual, verbal, and physical abuse, neglect, physical chronic health issues, somatic symptoms, and obsessive-compulsive disorders.
Some of the treatment modalities I use include brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Couples therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD. For trauma treatment, I also use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which uses eye movements and somatic experiencing to address a wide range of symptoms.
I have 6 children who are all in the LGBTQ+ population. My love of people and my desire to help them find their greater peace and happiness come from my spirituality, informed by the LDS faith.
I am licensed as a marriage and family therapist in Utah and Iowa, and as an associate marriage and family therapist in Washington. I obtained my master's in marriage and family therapy from UVU in 2023 and my bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from UC Berkeley in 1989.
