Collin Willardsen, Student Intern

My name is Collin Willardsen (he/him) and I am a new intern at Flourish Therapy.

I'm a married father of two girls (10 and 2 years old, and yes that's a big age gap and yes I absolutely love it). I'm currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work through the University of Denver's online program. I earned a BS of Psychology from UVU and have lived in Utah since 2018.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado where I was raised in a very Christian/conservative house. This meant a great deal of homophobia and transphobia was apparent throughout my upbringing and ever since I was young those things felt wrong to me.

Having a strong passion for standing up for the bullied, and having known many members of the queer and trans community has instilled a deep passion to help those of that community. I have always had a strong passion for helping others and am very excited to work in this field.
