Jacey Thornton, CSW
Jacey Thornton (she/they) is a Certified Social Worker who earned their Master of Social Work from Weber State University in April 2025. As an anti-oppression therapist, Jacey brings authenticity, warmth, and curiosity into the therapy room. She draws from evidence-based practices including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mind-Body Bridging (MBB). Her approach is deeply trauma-informed and client-centered, meeting each person where they are with compassion and presence.
Jacey is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, especially those navigating identity, faith transitions, systemic harm, and complex trauma. As a formerly incarcerated person and long-time community advocate, she is especially committed to supporting justice-involved clients and believes that everyone deserves access to affirming, nonjudgmental care.
In addition to her clinical work, Jacey is an activist, public speaker, and Executive Director of Project Rainbow Utah, where she organizes initiatives that promote visibility, equity, and joy for the LGBTQIA+ community across the state.
