Katie Clegg, ACMHC
Katie Clegg (she/they) has a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Capella
University. She is currently licensed as an associate clinical mental health counselor (ACMHC
extern).
They have also been trained to do exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy for clients with OCD. She loves working with LGBTQ+ adults, often incorporating dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and internal family systems (IFS).
Areas of interest in therapy treatment include OCD, gender, sexuality, culture, neurodiversity, intersectionality, anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, and navigating religion, spirituality, or faith crisis/transition. They value kindness, lifelong learning, empathy, and holding a safe space for clients.
Katie loves spending time with her spouse, two kids, and dog. She also enjoys reading (fantasy fiction and/or sapphic romance), writing, attending ballet classes, crocheting, music, eating chocolate, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends.
