Summer Zemp, MA

Summer Zemp has been a passionate advocate for inclusive mental health care since Flourish Therapy’s earliest days. As the clinic’s first hired therapist, she worked alongside founder Dr. Lisa Hansen to help establish Flourish when it was providing services at the Encircle House. Though she transitioned out of clinical work in 2021, Summer’s commitment to Flourish never wavered.

Drawing from her work in DEI, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, Summer brings a deep commitment to creating compassionate, culturally responsive spaces where people of all identities can feel seen and supported. She is especially passionate about Flourish’s mission to expand access to affirming mental health care for LGBTQ+ individuals, regardless of financial circumstance.

Summer continues to be actively involved in community work and advocacy and is proud to support Flourish in advancing its vision of healing, connection, and equity for all.
