Assistant Clinical Director
(Hybrid | Orem, Utah)

Pay: $45–50/hour DOE
Hours: 31–40 hours/week (flexible; occasional evenings as needed)

Position Overview

The Assistant Clinical Director works alongside the Clinical Director to support the leadership, oversight, and ongoing improvement of Flourish Therapy’s clinical services. This senior clinical role includes supervision of clinical staff, quality assurance and compliance oversight, and collaboration across departments. The position may also include a small clinical caseload to remain connected to direct client care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clinical leadership with strategic planning and goal monitoring

  • Supervise and mentor licensed clinicians, associate clinicians, interns, and possibly supervisors

  • Lead and support quality assurance initiatives, including chart reviews, outcomes tracking, and documentation compliance

  • Ensure compliance with licensing boards, managed care requirements, funder expectations, and HIPAA

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, HR, and development teams to align clinical and organizational goals

  • Foster an inclusive, affirming, trauma-informed clinical culture

  • Maintain a modest clinical caseload as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in MFT, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Clinical Mental Health

  • Active, unrestricted clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, etc.)

  • 5+ years of clinical experience; 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience

  • Experience in nonprofit or community mental health settings preferred

  • Familiarity with managed care, Medicaid/Medicare, grants, and regulatory frameworks

  • Proficiency with TherapyNotes or similar EHR systems

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets)

  • Lived experience within the LGBTQ+ community

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Commitment to equity, social justice, and trauma-informed care
