Abby Tyler, Student Intern
My name is Abby Tyler (she/her). I grew up in Utah as the middle child in a family of ten. I was raised in a very religious environment and understand how hard it can be to overcome ingrained shame. Over the years, I've learned a lot about achieving self-acceptance and self-love. Even if there are things you still want to work on, I want to help you find peace and authenticity in the process.
I work with clients of all ages but have a special interest in supporting young adults and families. I believe strongly that everyone deserves the right to live and love as they choose. I’m proud to work with the LGBTQIA+ community. My other areas of expertise include anxiety and depression, religious trauma, and body neutrality.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Family Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2017 and am currently pursuing my MFT master’s degree through National University, with an emphasis on Trauma-Informed Care. I will be seeing clients at the Salt Lake City or South Jordan office of Flourish, as well as through telehealth.
Please reach out and let me know how I can support you on your self-guided journey toward the life you want!
