Sierrah Roberts, ACMHC
My name is Sierrah Roberts (she/her), and I am a cisgender woman and member of the queer
community. I have both personal and professional experiences with navigating a faith transition,
managing anxiety, supporting others with neurodiversity, and discovering one’s sexuality/coming out
to friends, family, and peers. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and
providing a safe, supportive space where clients can be their authentic selves. I primarily work from
an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework, incorporating aspects of Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy.
I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (Utah License #: 13977926-6004) and am licensed to practice therapy in Utah and Iowa. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Utah Valley University (UVU). My previous experience includes working as a care technician at a residential eating-disorder facility and as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at a nonprofit organization serving children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum. I also worked with a local non-profit organization to help develop an after-school program curriculum aimed at teaching adolescents about mental health, coping skills, and resilience.
