Shanna Becker, Student Intern

Hi! My name is Shanna (she/her). I'm a Master of Social Work intern

currently completing my graduate training at Utah Valley University.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know how important it can be to feel comfortable with your therapist. Whether we're talking about identity or something completely different, my goal is to create a space where you can be yourself. I hope we can work together toward the goals that matter most to you.

Before starting my clinical training, I spent almost a decade working with adults with physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and mental health conditions. Since then, I've also worked with children in a day treatment program, and I currently work as a case manager in supportive housing. Looking back, those experiences have taught me a lot and have played a big role in the therapist I'm becoming.

In my free time, I love watching movies, listening to music, attending concerts, seeing plays and musicals, and relaxing at home.
