Shara Ramirez, Student Intern

Hello! My name is Shara. I am an MFT intern pursuing a

master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella

University. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from

the University of Utah. I am excited to apply both my

academic training and lived experience to my work with

clients.

I believe healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can safely explore life’s challenges, deepen self-understanding, and build relationships that reflect their authentic selves. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique story.

My experiences navigating trauma, loss, identity shifts, complex relationships, and personal transformation have strengthened my belief in our capacity to heal and grow. I know how difficult it can be to feel disconnected from oneself, and I am passionate about helping people reclaim their voice, reconnect with their values, and create lives that feel authentic and meaningful.
